As a manager in product marketing, you will be responsible for leading the development of company marketing specifications for specific product(s) or product line(s). Manage marketing activities within the context of the overall corporate plan to meet company objectives. Monitor the development of business plans and business results of e-marketing. Manage lifecycles and product positioning in the market place. Identify customer needs, oversee market research, and monitor the market trends/competitive landscape. Implement and monitor advertising campaigns. Act as a technical advisor for specific product(s). Initiate and foster relationships with development, sales, and other groups to develop new products or enhance functionality of existing product(s) or product line(s). Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Practical internet knowledge. Software business management experience. 7 years technical marketing experience. Previous development experience or developer marketing experience desired. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Successful track record in management. BA/BS degree. MBA preferred.

As Director of Product Marketing, you will own & lead a team to deliver on the global product marketing strategy for our CX products targeted at CMO’s. This product marketing leader within the Oracle Cloud CX Product Marketing team is tasked with driving marketing and sales enablement for core Oracle CX solutions – Marketing, Loyalty and Content. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of product marketers tasked with the development of global sales plays, top-of-funnel messaging and associated content in support of field sellers and global marketing programs. This requires the ability to synthesize the customer & market needs, the changing competitive landscape and CX differentiators to ensure revenue and market penetration targets are met. Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally is a daily requirement for success in this role. Working closely with the product, marketing and sales organizations, the ability to develop and articulate differentiated messaging consistently across sales and marketing channels is paramount. If you are passionate at describing product features or giving compelling technical product demo’s, then this job is probably not for you.
Assist in the development of global marketing plans for your area of responsibility
Define global market narratives and messaging that will ensure consistency across sales and marketing.
Define sales play development strategy for your product area working closely with field leaders globally and manage the development of level 1 (top of funnel) sales content to support these global sales plays
Working closely with our CX global marketing teams, develop messaging and marketing content in support of demand generation campaigns
Ensure product innovations are effectively communicated to the market on a quarterly basis
Be the point contact in global product marketing for product leadership as it relates to your area for responsibility
Present strategies and plans frequently to marketing & product leadership.
Frequently present to customers and prospects in your product areas including conferences, online events and customer visits.
Be a spokesperson for analysts within your areas of expertise
Manage a team of individual contributors maintaining strategic direction and goal attainment
8 year’s experience in a product marketing role focused on value-based messaging
6 more years of successful management experience, leading teams of product marketers
Experienced marketing of products targeted at the Chief Marketing Office
Product Marketing in a technology company with demonstrated success in launching winning products in the cloud
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated success in working across teams to listen, consolidate and make decisions is critical
Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced organization and un-phased by ambiguity and competing priorities
MBA or Bachelor’s degree in business or technology field
Willing to travel up to 20%
