Our VP of Customer Success will prioritize our customers to ensure that they realize value quickly and move to rapid expansion on our SaaS products. You will do that through the customer journey we create; we lead and guide customers on that journey which will increase the value that they realize.Reporting to the Executive Vice President over Customer Support, Professional Services, and Information Technology and Security, you will work closely with other executives as an extended member of the Venafi Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to ensure we make customers successful.You will play a key role in driving customer goals, product utilization, business transformation, and revenue expansion by ensuring the engagement, success, retention, and growth of Venafi SaaS customers.If you are equal parts strategist, visionary, and doer and shift easily from thought leadership to rolling up your sleeves to engage in hands-on customer interactions, this may be your next exciting adventure.THE VP OF CUSTOMER SUCCESS WILL:* DEFINE our strategy to ensure our SaaS customers succeed* BUILD a strong Customer Success team from the ground up* ANALYZE and DOCUMENT the customer journey* LEAD CUSTOMERS on the journey which will increase the value they realize* UNDERSTAND individual customer PRODUCT USAGE on every level* DEVELOP and IMPLEMENT key metrics* SET OBJECTIVES and MONITOR PROGRESS against those metrics* ELIMINATE BOTTLENECKS and INCREASE USAGE by every customer (Conversely quickly identify where usage begins to stall or decline)WHAT SETS YOU APART** 5+ years of experience in leading customer-facing organizations* Experience leading Customer Success in SaaS world* Ability to manage and influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building* Ideally combined background of post-sale and sales experience* Strong empathy for customers AND passion for revenue and growth* Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models* Analytical and process-oriented mindset* Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement* Enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others* Excellent communication and presentation skills* Relevant Bachelors degree; preference for computer science or related degreesWHILE YOU ARE BUSY PROTECTING THE WORLD, WEVE GOT YOU COVERED!In addition to fostering a work environment with a strong work from anywhere ethic, Venafi offers a benefit package that is in the top 1%.
