Territory Sales Representative

job summary:

Very reputable, growing and well established building products manufacturer is looking for a Territory Sales Representative in the Salt Lake City, Utah area.

This role comes with a very competitive compensation plan commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $80k to $90k plus bonus, commission, company vehicle etc.

The Territory Sales Representative will be able to work from a home office but must be willing to travel to Colorado and Las Vegas, estimated overnight travel will be approximately 40%. The ideal candidate will possess sales experience within the building products industry, along with a solid business acumen, experience calling on CEO's down to project managers.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

responsibilities:

  • Seek and qualify new production builder prospects and engage accordingly to present companiess "excellence" proposition. Maintain relationships with existing builders.

  • Seek and qualify new dealer prospects and engage accordingly to present companies "partnership" proposition. Maintain relationships with existing dealers.

  • Analyze market trends and develop action plans to capitalize on shifts in this market.

  • Promote new products as directed to the specific market segment builders/dealers that are applicable.

  • Utilize Salesforce on a regular basis to maximize efficiency and productivity, as well as to facilitate communication with Regional Sales Manager.

  • Provide accurate monthly forecasts as required by senior executive team.

  • Assist Regional Sales Manager with budgeting tasks and reports. Competencies
