Product Marketing Manager
Waterford.org is looking for a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) who is data-driven and who has a results-oriented, we-can-build-it approach. Use data analysis to understand the way our partners want to be communicated with and what messages mean most to them.
Work with multiple departments to drive messaging and provide market data to influence decisions about our product development and sales approach.
Conduct competitive analysis and stay current on what our competitors are doing to understand how we should position ourselves.
Execute on a variety of projects and then use data to determine the success. If they were unsuccessful then make adjustments and start again.
Meet with our partners to investigate Waterford’s strengths and weaknesses and use that information to advise on decisions.
Work directly with our sales team to understand their pain points and build strategies to support and improve their efforts.
Comfortable giving presentations to potential partners
Work with teams to produce collateral and optimally A/B test for efficacy
Drive and nurture leads for our School Relations (Sales) team
Work on attribution modeling to improve lead conversion
Provide a go-to-market strategy for new product launch
Support both B2B and B2C models of business development
Travel to events (Once in-person events start back up again)
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related subject area, Master’s is a plus
Proven track record in sales, marketing, and/or similar customer-facing role
Experience in working with educators is preferred
Emotional intelligence is required to put yourself in the shoes of our partners.
Strong organization and prioritization skills
Experience in analyzing data to make informed decisions
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
A creative and results-oriented demeanor to build something new
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office programs
Proficiency with Jira, HubSpot, Confluence, and Salesforce is helpful
Social Media Experience
Currently, due to COVID-19, the majority of Waterford.org team members are working remotely! We have adapted our recruitment process and all interviews are being conducted via Zoom meetings. We will onboard, train, and work remotely for the foreseeable future.
