Performance Coatings Group Management Trainee Program is a 6-12 month learning and development experience designed for learning agile graduates who have an interest in sales, operations and management. The program provides on the job training, structured learning modules and classroom instruction to develop participants to be promoted to an Operations Manager. Management Trainees are assigned to a training facility to build key skills and learn the coatings business to be successful in their next promotional opportunity. Relocation will be required for training and promotional opportunities. Management Trainee learning includes: Understanding of facility operations Knowledge and experience with customer service Gain knowledge and experience with paints and coatings Gain understanding of warehouse management Develop knowledge of the selling process Gain exposure to marketing and financial analysis Learn basic management skills BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Must have your bachelors degree, or will obtain one within the next 12 months. Must be able to work all scheduled hours. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. on occasion. Must be able to tint paint, therefore, must be able to distinguish one or more chromatic colors. Must be able to operate a hand truck-and or material handling equipment in Facilities that have such equipment. Must be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone. Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status. Must be willing to relocate for promotional opportunities. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prior work experience in sales or customer service. Bilingual ability. Bachelor's degree preferably in a business and-or sales field. Equal Opportunity Employer.
