Fiserv Director, Sales (Commercial Mid-Market) in Salt Lake City, Utah

Position Description

What does an outstanding Director, Sales do?

In this role, you will lead Commercial Middle Market Sales Executives (SEs) across the Western Region. These areas are currently underpenetrated Middle Market RSA regions and key growth markets where self-sourcing and business development leveraging NONFI partners is needed. SE’s reporting to this role align to Strategic RSA partners including Santander, Citi, as well as several community RSAs in addition to self-sourcing (hunting) opportunities. Each SE will have a $200,000-$275,000 Total Achieved Revenue Annual quota (approximately a $800,000 in Signed DIA annually). This leader will drive larger commercial middle market opportunities generating significantly higher revenue to the firm.

You can look forward to:

  • Actively coaching, training and developing SEs leveraging consistent and predictable management routines including joint sales calling, pipeline management; and focused and tailored action planning for the team.

  • Collaborating with senior RSA Commercial Bank teams to develop a comprehensive and holistic sales strategies for select high value clients to maximize revenue opportunities.

  • Self-sourcing referrals and leads outside of Financial Institution Partners

  • Driving execution of departmental sales and revenue objectives including, but not limited to, pricing and profitability guidelines as well as team sales goals.

You're the kind of person who:

  • Has the ability to source, identify and build relationships with key C-level decision maker’s.

  • Can develop new business, influence decision makers and negotiate business deals.

  • Has excellent oral and written communication and business analysis skills.

  • Is tenacious and focused on achieving their sales and revenue goals.

Qualifications for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 8 years of sales experience ideally within the financial services industry.

  • Payments industry knowledge and business acumen are essential.

  • Minimum 4 years previous sales management experience is required.

  • Prior experience and skills in the management of prospecting, territory development, and networking

Preferred qualifications for consideration:

  • Prior experience within Fiserv.

Travel:

  • 50%
