Clients worldwide look to our Cybersecurity Managed Services (CMS) team to provide 24x7 support for a company’s environment. Our consultants and analysts work in conjunction with our client teams to identify and resolve potential issues long before they even happen. As a Senior Manager on our Markets Enablement team, you will be right at the heart of that mission, using your experience to create solutions and drive a team to help our clients in an ever-changing environment. Working closely with consultants across the business, you will help define the future of cybersecurity managed services for our clients.
At EY’s Cybersecurity Managed Services there is no such thing as a typical day – every day brings forth new objectives and challenges to solve for our clients. We are seeking an experienced senior manager consultant who is keen to support our client challenges, develop in-depth technical knowledge and provide exceptional client service.
As a part of our Markets Enablement team, you will play a critical role in providing quality cybersecurity support services to our client organizations. We look for individuals who have a passion for cybersecurity and managed services, along with optimal critical thinking and customer service skills. You can expect to work across multiple industries, support complex environments and develop key client relationships. You will be responsible for leading geographically and culturally diverse teams of subject matter experts to craft a managed service solution for our client’s unique environments. Successful candidates will have prior experience in solutioning and managing pursuit teams that provide managed services.
Your Key Responsibilities
Effectivelylead and manage multiple concurrent cybersecurity managed services pursuitteams that have diverse skills and backgrounds
Buildan internal network across service lines to generate new business opportunitiesand develop and maintain long-term client relationships to expand the business
UnderstandEY and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients
Leadpursuits, oversee creation of proposals and manage sales processes
Providesupport for selling engagements and expanding current engagements
Reviewand understand financial metrics and ensure the solution falls within approvedparameters
Providesinitial draft of statements of work, align with master services agreements andassists with contract negotiations
Reviewthe team’s ongoing work products and play an active role in counselling andmentoring staff and managers within the firm
Providesubject matter expertise to client’s executive management and internal teams
Consistentlydeliver quality client services by driving high-quality work products withinexpected timeframes and financial guidelines
Monitorprogress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed aboutprogress and expected outcomes
Skillsand Attributes for Success
Stays abreastof industry-leading vendors in the Managed Security Services space andapplicable technology vendors products and road maps
Excellentpresentation skills to client executive leadership (CIO, CFO, CISO, etc.)
Effectivelycommunicates across multiple collaboration platforms and written communications
Communicatesissues and seeks support in a timely manner to eliminate roadblocks and drivecollaboration, speed, innovation and excellence
Makes well-informeddecisions and champions enhancements of new products for the product linesupporting the overall business strategy
Contractcreation, review and negotiation for Statements of Work
Continuallymonitors competitor, industry development and business trends
Ability tolead globally diverse team
A bachelor's degree and approximately 8 yearsof related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 7 years ofrelated work experience in the fields of Computer Science, Information Systems,Engineering, Business or related major
A minimum of 6+ years of related workexperience in one or more of the following areas:
IT Outsourcing pursuit or tower lead, or
Cyber security Managed Security ServiceProvider (MSSP) solutioning
A strong understanding of the securityframeworks and standards such as ISO 27001/2, PCI DSS, NIST 800-53 and thecybersecurity laws and regulations such as HIPAA, FISMA and GLBA
An understanding of the IT securitytechnologies and tools
Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint,Excel, Word and related collaboration technologies
Demonstrated ability to manage large scale pursuitteams and develop new engagement opportunities in the managed services space
Ability to create relationships within theCyber security or IT executive ranks (e.g., CIO, CISO, Director of Cyber security,SVP and VP of Cyber security)
Excellent leadership and teaming skills withadvanced written and verbal communication skills
CISSP, CISM, CISA, CIPT, CIPM, CRISC or otherrelevant certification desired; non-certified hires are required to becomecertified within 1 year from the date of hire
A willingness to travel to meet client needs;travel is estimated at 25-50%
A valid driver's license in the US and a validpassport required; willingness and ability to travel internationally
