Customer Account Representative

Salt Lake City, Utah

$16.00-$18.00/hr.

A wholesale active wear distribution company has an immediate need for a Customer Account Representative. In this position you will use heavy customer service with a relationship building emphasis. If you love working with people and takes pride in your work this may be the ideal position for you.

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Process and maintain highest level of accuracy with customer purchase orders

  • Clear and decisive consultative communication through phone and email interactions

  • Develop action plans to set and help achieve customer goals

  • Manage and analyze incoming inventory to provide solutions to accounts

  • Work with the customer service manager and team lead to create sales strategy, implement and measure strategy within assigned accounts

  • Represent company with integrity and personal accountability in all customer interactions

  • Achieve daily order processing and accuracy goals

  • Achieve expected volume of proactive customer calls while managing inbound requests

  • Practice knowledge of consultative selling approach

  • Effectively manage multiple projects and assignments through to completion

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to include idea generation

  • Manage quoting projects and proactive ideation

  • Navigate, qualify & research B2B partnerships; engage via email/phone/social media

  • Develop creative programs, specials and flyers for new opportunities

  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 2+ years' experience in sales and/or marketing with customer service experience

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with exceptional written and verbal skills

  • High interest in consumer products for marketing events and advertising

  • Strong ability to sell products with an "on trend" component understanding trends and how to bring the trend to market

  • High level of competitiveness, positive attitude, enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn

  • Ability to generate original solutions to business opportunities and challenges

  • Ability to utilize continuous improvement concepts and philosophies on a regular basis
