Oracle Applications Sales Representative, HSGBU in Salt Lake City, Utah
Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).
Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years field sales experience with focus on large strategic accounts including applications sales experience. Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiation skills. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Presentation skills. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.

Recruiting for an Application Sales Representative to sell into the Emerging Biopharma, Med Device and small-mid size CRO markets. The Account Manager will be responsible for selling Oracle's full suite of eClinical and Pharmacovigilance software solutions, incl. Clinical One (EDC & RTSM), InForm EDC, IRT, Siebel CTMS, Argus Safety suite, ClearTrial and mHealth.
Key skills / experience required;
5 - 10 years in sales with Software Applications and/or clinical trial-related products or services
Consistent track record of exceeding quota
Life science industry experience / knowledge
eClinical software sales experience / knowledge
Excellent prospecting and qualification skills to identify new opportunities
Strong software sales background, with proven track record of closing complex software sales cycles
Ability to think strategically about the market and prioritize key growth opportunities
Ability to penetrate accounts at multiple levels and clearly articulate Oracle Health Science’s value proposition
Build and nurture lasting relationships with key stakeholders
Needs to be a team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills
Excellent customer communication (external & internal), negotiating and closing skills
Ability to sell directly to end customers, while also working with industry channel partners to close deals
Highly organized and deadline orientated, with experience of producing regular sales forecast reports and activity updates
