JBT Corporation Spare Parts Sales Representative in Ogden, Utah
Develop and implement sales strategies for target markets and customers related to our After Market business including spare parts, refurbished equipment, inspection services, training and maintenance. This would entail selling current products and services as well as the development of new ways to grow the After Market. In addition, provide support and cooperation with Spare Parts Sales and marketing activities of the offices in London and Hong Kong as well as our Airport Services business.
This position is intended to maintain constant communication with customers to sell spare parts and upgrade kits, sell both in-house and on-site Rehab projects, offer both on-site and in-house training courses, and understand the new product and aftermarket needs of the customer.
Ensures customer sales orders are satisfactorily processed and shipped on schedule.
Prepare quotations, process returns, charges, credit cards and interact with customers through phone, fax, email, etc.
Develops spare parts sales forecast. Work with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Field Service etc, to develop Sales Tools.
Provide feedback to the organization on field calls, market activity, competitive information and contacts.
Perform specific analysis of part sales trends and other information to target customer’s sales and new product and service development ideas.
Review with account representatives their analysis of customer sales activity and trends.
Supports the spare parts sales activities for the JBT offices in London and Hong Kong by reviewing their monthly sales, inventory levels, and business issues in their sales regions.
Provide input and updates to the spare parts pricing files.
Identify area of potential growth for the spare part sales. Develops methods for achieving continued sales growth. Identify competitive threats from other parts manufacturers and develops plans of action to deal with the threats.
Identify process and system improvements for the department. Work with department staff and other areas of the organization on timely implementation of the improvements.
Provide ongoing input and support to the department's databases.
Travel to customer sites as required to further the marketing of spare parts and resolve customer issues.
Work with the Account Representatives on the development and implementation of a visit schedule for key customers.
Maintain accurate records of locations, contacts, purchasing history, JBT assets, and future needs of customers. Update as contact is made or information is gathered.
Review competitors’ parts for commonality with JBT’s parts.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, markups, margins and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
This position requires the following computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Syteline and Team Center.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently be exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. However, when traveling to various customer operational sites the noise level may be louder than when in the office.
