Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market. Manages a staff of managers.
As a manager in product marketing, you will be responsible for leading the development of company marketing specifications for specific product(s) or product line(s). Manage marketing activities within the context of the overall corporate plan to meet company objectives. Monitor the development of business plans and business results of e-marketing. Manage lifecycles and product positioning in the market place. Identify customer needs, oversee market research, and monitor the market trends/competitive landscape. Implement and monitor advertising campaigns. Act as a technical advisor for specific product(s). Initiate and foster relationships with development, sales, and other groups to develop new products or enhance functionality of existing product(s) or product line(s). Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Practical internet knowledge. Software business management experience. 7 years technical marketing experience. Previous development experience or developer marketing experience desired. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Successful track record in management. BA/BS degree. MBA preferred.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

As a Director in product marketing, you will be responsible for:
Build, Run, and lead an industry-leading product marketing team that continuously achieves or surpasses its objectives.
Own the creation of global GTM plans and specifications for Oracle’s Integration, Mobile, Chatbots, and Content & Experience offerings.
Establish and expand Oracle’s leadership and market position in these categories.
Drive an integrated and compelling digital experience (web, social, & mobile) for users interested in OCI Platform services.
Lead activities within the context of the overall corporate plan to meet company objectives.
Supervise the development of business plans and business results.
Handle lifecycles and product positioning.
Identify customer needs, lead all aspects of market research, and monitor the market trends/competitive landscape.
Implement and track field sales plays, integrated campaigns.
Act as an advisor for specific product(s) including public speaking.
Initiate and cultivate relationships with development, sales, and other groups to develop new products or improve the functionality of the existing product(s) or product line(s).
Ensure successful product releases and launches based on corporate priorities.
Deep knowledge of either Enterprise Integration or Mobile markets
Experience running a product marketing or product management team of 5 people
The ideal candidate would also have experience in driving successful digital initiatives that map to each step of the customer journey from awareness and education to conversion to paid use
Ability to work across teams (development, marketing, sales, and services) to drive key initiatives
Proven bias for action and driving results
Minimum 5 years of experience in roles such as product management or product marketing within the technology industry. Specific experience in cloud computing is required.
The candidate should also have:
BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering (preferred), Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
MBA (or equivalent experience)
